Production Blog: Revision & Further Planning

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the blog! During the last blog we introduced our storyboard, and the plan for our music video. During this blog I am going to be speaking on the process of revising the storyboard, and planning further for the music video. First off, when creating the storyboard we missed a large part of our video. We wanted to include a part of David and I in the gym, but when we created the storyboard, it slipped our mind and we forgot it. This was an easy fix. I really quickly edit the storyboard to include the gym part and moved on with the planning. I'm not going to be in town the weekend of the 21st, so we had to find another time to start filming, whether it was on a weekday after school, or the weekend of the 28th. We decided it would be best to start filming on the weekdays, doing small solo shoots that we don't need to meet up for, and meet up on the weekend of the 28th to film the big parts like us jet-skiing, and shopping. I drive David home from school, and we typically go to the gym around 4:00 pm every single day. I say this to illustrate how easy it is for us to communicate and start filming. We are planning on filming every day we go to the gym, getting small clips every day and figuring out which we wish to use on our music video. I'm mainly in charge of editing, so while David and Jake are filming their solo parts, I'm going to be editing and planning how our final product is going to look. Focusing on small little details and telling David and Jake what I need them to do. When we meet up on the 28th, we are going to film the beach, jet-skiing, and balcony scenes, since this is all something we should be able to complete in a day. And on the 29th, we are going to film the shopping, and cooking scenes. This, theoretically, if everything goes to plan, should leave us with a week to edit, refilm if needed, and peer review. That's is all for today's blog! Thank you all for tuning in! I hope to see you all again Thursday for the final blog before filming!
