Production Blog: All Together Now
Hello guys! Welcome back to the blog! Yesterday's blog I spoke on Renato and I's process of filming the training scenes together. For todays blog, I am happy to announce, the entire group was finally free for once. Due to us all being free, we decided to start
working on the scenes that involve all of us, and ventured to the beach. Our day started off with a scene designed to illustrate the difference of characters between Renato and Finn. With our friend Sarah being there to add depth to the narrative, and further highlight Finn's relaxation. We positioned Sarah and Finn together to capture a moment of them enjoying the beach scenery. While Renato, determined, jogged in the background. This setup was planned to highlight Renatos determination and eagerness to work, in contrast to Finn's laid-back attitude. For the next shot, I took out my drone and lined it up behind Renato, 30 feet in the sky. This aerial perspective aimed to enhance the narrative, metaphorically, outpacing his laid-back adversary. The next and final scene we shot on the beach, was a scene in which Sarah and Finn are together, laughing at Renato, a subtle nod to Finn's cockiness and carefree attitude. Transitioning from the beach to a local restaurant. Here, Isahiah took center stage, portraying a scene where he is on the phone with Renato discussing his return to the ring. The restaurant was perfect for this because of its noisy atmosphere, creating a sense of realness, instead of a fake stage created entirely for Isahiah. Wrapping up the day, we felt a sense of accomplishment. Our next steps involve filming the boxing scenes, and the final scene of Renato entering the ring, which we hope to accomplish within the week. Until then, I will focus on editing and see if we need to reshoot anything. Thats it for todays blog! Thank you for tuning in, and I hope to see you again tomorrow for my first editing blog!
