Production Blog: Slow Day

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the blog! Today turned out to be a slower day, giving us a bit of a breather between our more intense filming sessions. I spent much of the day working behind the scenes, making sure that our promotional efforts stayed on track. Finn and I focused on boosting our Instagram and TikTok pages, promoting behind-the-scenes snippets and going around school telling people about what we are doing. We experimented with different posts and hashtags to increase our reach and build excitement for the film. It was refreshing to take a step back from the hectic filming schedule and concentrate on our social media strategy. While working with Finn, I helped draft several engaging posts that captured the mood of our current progress. The interaction with our followers was encouraging, as we received positive feedback and questions about the production. In between managing social media, I assisted Alyssa with finalizing the design of our postcards. Alyssa’s creativity really showed as we reviewed the layout and finalized the images and text. We made sure the postcards were eye-catching, while also dark and reflective of the film’s tone. The slow pace of the day allowed us to pay close attention to these promotional details. After spending time on social media and promotional materials, we regrouped to discuss our upcoming schedule. It was decided that we would hold our final day of shooting on Wednesday. We went over everyone's availability and confirmed that everyone's aligned perfectly for Wednesday. Although today was less hectic, it set the stage for an intense final shoot. The team discussed final details, including wardrobe adjustments and location setups for the upcoming scenes. By the end of the day, we had a clear plan in place. It felt good to know that our promotional efforts are gaining traction while we prepare for the final filming day. The synergy between our social media outreach and our production schedule is key to the success of our film. With the groundwork laid today, the energy for tomorrow and the final shoot is higher than ever. I’m excited about the progress we’re making, even on slower days like today. They allow us to ensure that every element of the project, both on-screen and off, is given the attention it deserves. Thank you for following along and supporting our journey. When I first started thinking about what I wanted to do for my commercial I watched TikTok for some ideas. I ran into an account called "Recider". He is a cinematographer and editor whos videos gave me a lot of inspiration and ideas on how I want to edit my commercial. After I figured out how I wanted to do my commercial I started to put some thought on what videos, photos, and music I wanted to put in it. At first I wanted to use a Drake song, but I was unsure if that would be "school appropriate" so I thought of other artists to use. Bruno Mars was the first to come to mind, but my friend was using him and I want my project to stand out. I finally came to the conclusion that I'd use a Zach Bryan song since I'm going to a concert of his with my family next summer. Production Blog: Filming Continued

Hello guys! Welcome back to the blog. It's been full of anticipation since Renato and I first embarked on filming some initial scenes for our movie. With the weekend rolling around again, we found ourselves with the luxury of free time, perfectly aligning with our schedules. This weekend, we've dedicated both days to our filming. Unfortunately, Isahiah and Finn couldn't join us again today, but we're expecting them to be with us tomorrow on the beach. Given this, Renato and I took the initiative to focus on scenes that spotlight his character, with a scene or two including me. Our day kicked off at LA Fitness, a chosen location for filming training sequences involving Renato's character. Despite lacking boxing gloves, we didn't let that hinder our progress.
